According to this list: there isn’t even Hongkong listed for my model (A1905).Īlternatively I am thinking of buying a cheap smartphone in China to host a hotspot for my iPhone, which also leads me to my second question: Thus, I am thinking of getting a SIM-card from a different country at CAN airport. I do have an iPhone 8 (model number A1905) which is not working with any of the 3 networks in China (see here: I also contacted Apple and asked for help but they couldn’t provide any help). I am flying to Guangzhou CAN tomorrow and start working in Foshan for the next couple of month.
